We have one problem which is that when we move a file from one machine to another for some reason the permission sometimes changes from read/write , to read only .
What we are doing is copying files from a laptop running 10.3.2 onto a G5 running osx server 10.3.6
It can be sorted by changing the permission using control I , but there must be a way of sorting it ?
