I'm trying to make objects appear as if they live in a folder hierarchy like "[weblog]/2007/06/01/the_object_here". In fact, they probably live in "[weblog]/the_object_here". I'm willing to believe the approach is (slightly) insane, but the goal seems reasonable... no?
