Anybody familiar with Iterate?
I'm trying to create a Publish/checkout/Modify/Review Cycles workflow
where the owner/editor, while the document is in the publish state,
can't edit it but can check out (make a working copy in private state).
the problem is that you need Modify Portal Content for both edit and/or
check out the document.
I tried the following permissions
CMFEditions: Checkout to location
CMFEditions: Save new version
iterate : Check out content
but nothing works for check out except Modify portal content
We did fix some bugs with this - are you definitely on 3.0 final? I
can't recall the exact permissions. You need to be more specific in any
case.
also, it is a bit confusing when you refer to can add, can edit, can
view, can review in plone and in the zmi
to Anonymous, Authenticated, Contributor, Editor, Manager, Member, Owner, Reader, Reviewer.
which role is mapped to "can add"
Contributor. These mappings are made in plone.app.workflow.localrole, btw.
