FWIW: i've come to love the ++resource++ notation (in conjunction with
the browser:resourceDirectory directive). it makes for excellent
rewrite rules in apache/nginx and i can thus easily serve the contents
of such directories statically from the filesystem.
once you start treating the explicitness of ++resource++ as a feature
instead of a liability all kinds of things become possible ;-)
