Hi,

As of Plone 3, products/components developers are supposed to provide
Zope 3 style interfaces. So far, so good.
But are we always supposed to "bridge" these interfaces to Zope 2
style interfaces if we don't need Plone 2.5 compatibility? In other
words, are there some code in Plone 3 that always use Zope 2
interfaces?

Nothing important should rely on them. There may be exceptions: if you find
those please report a bug so we can fix those in Plone 3.x.

In Plone 4 all CMF Zope 2 interfaces have been removed and any code that
tries to use them will break instantly.

Thanks Wichert,

At the moment, I noticed AT Fields and PortalTransforms transform classes are always associated with (and only with) Zope 2 interfaces, but this doesn't affect anything as far as I tested.

Cheers
