Sorry for not defining my questions properly:
1) Is it "wrong" to make a custom Member-type folder?
2) If not, is it sure that the readding is because of the content
type? (or could it be a workflow issue (single state workflow, (or
something else))

I have made a custom members folders, it has several extra fields,
among
them an image field that resizes the uploaded image and creates
PIL sizes.
Should/could this be done with metadata TTW instead.
The problem with my custom type is that every time a user logs in
a new
folder is created in /Members. Could this be a wrong workflow on that
folder (single state workflow)
The first thing is to provide related code.
