On the move from products to eggs/packages and from Install.py to GenericSetup profiles things like this can happen unfortunately. In the portal_quickinstaller there is a second tab (called 'contents' I think). From there you can remove the double product. Click at the items on the normal tab to see which one has seen activity recently (meaning: it has a recent entry in the install log). In my experience it is safe to remove anything from that second tab in the quick installer, though you may loose some information that can be helpful when uninstalling.
