I'm interested in keeping a lot of similar objects in a single large folder, but manipulating their workflow state and permissions in bulk via special collections. Can anyone point me to a good starting point for understanding how to replace the default acquisition of permissions? Is it a matter of registering new adapters and utilities for interfaces, or is it going to be less clean? I looked at plone.app.batch, by the way, and it's not quite meeting my requirements.
