Hi,
I'm attempting to use git with the collective.
Usecases are
1) pull down a single branch of the project so I can manage patches locally
2) upload a new project into the collective that is already under
control of git.
I'm new to git if someone has done this before and knows the procedure
that would be great.
And if someone has, perhaps they can confirm my suspicions that the
reason I can't seem to get very far is that there is no way of git to
work with svn without downloading the entire svn history... which for
the collective takes days if not on the same server... git experts?
