I'm a little confused from the paths given. By default member's home folders are at portal/Members/foo but your paths are portal/members/foo. Did you rename that folder? Also what exactly were you editing, the member's profile data or the member's home folder? Finally, does the "remember" in the subject mean you're using Products.remember and if so what versions?
