Hello list,
I'd like to extend the PloneHelpCenter product in order to be able to
mantain different versions of the same document for different Plone
releases where neccessary (not everytime). This can be very useful for
manuals like the User Manual.
An example of what I'd like is the "3.0 -3.5/3.6" or
"Windows/Linux/MacOS" options of
http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Private+Browsing
The different branches should be able to evolve individually, i.e. the
3.0 version won't be just an old revision of the current 4.0 version.
From my point of view this is similar to translations but with product
versions (and platforms perhaps) in the place of languages.
Can somebody give any clues about how could I implement such a feature?
Should I look into the LinguaPlone code for insight? Is already there
any product implementing a similar feature?
