Does Zope or Plone have a method for getting the value(s) from a querystring that is more typesafe than the self.request.form dict?
http://imitationfunsite.com/?gum=shoe&gum=chew would have a tuple for self.request.form['gum'] but http://imitationfunsite.com/?gum=goo would have a string, so it's not safe to iterate without checking. I know how to do this with isinstance, but I'm under the impression that Pythonistas tend to dislike isinstance on principle, so does Zope or Plone offer another way? Many thanks, Michael A.
