Hi,
I just tripped over missing profiles when installing Products.Ploneboard.
Investigation showed, that the latest release of Products.Simpleattachment
changed the name
of its profile from SimpleAttachment to default. I like the renaming, but I
wonder, what would be the
proper way to support both SimpleAttachment 3.4 and SimpleAttachment pre
3.4?
The problem is in Products.Ploneboard/profiles/default/metadata.xml
There this line,
<dependency>profile-Products.SimpleAttachment:default</dependency>
should be this
<dependency>profile-Products.SimpleAttachment:SimpleAttachment</dependency>
I see two possibilities:
pin the dependency of SimpleAttachment to either >=3.4 or <= 3.3
Create two different profiles.
I like neither solution, So I just ask for suggestions.
