I'm currently evaluating whether quintagroup.seoptimizer could be made to work for Dexterity content. By generalizing the adapter and view registrations it seems to work fine with Dexterity (except for the Check Keywords button, but that should not be too difficult to fix either.)
I'm also confused by the intent behind patching Products.CMFPlone.PloneTool.PloneTool.listMetaTags. This method only seems to be called from plone.app.layout's `plone.htmlhead.dublincore viewlet`, so why not just override this in the same way you override `plone.htmlhead.title` instead of registering your own `quintagroup.seoptimizer.seotags`?
