interest.

Generally it's recognized that the US's ranking is inflated by its position in the relatively weak CONCACAF group, which has inflated the points it receives. Like any formula for ranking, it relies on "all other things being equal", and in this case, it just ain't so.

But they are still an impressive team, and I'm hoping that they can take either Czech Republic or Italy in order to advance.
