I've emailed them and pointed out that MS acquired Fox Software in
1992,
so saying that MS didn't have a DBMS at the time is untrue.
This event was lampooned at the 1993 Fox Devcon in Orlando, in the
famous Indiana Jones spoof.
Also, Microsoft/Fox merged in June 1992, the same month as the
Borland conference in question. Fox could hardly be called a
Microsoft product at that time.
