Those responsible for the death of so many people share responsibility
and shame, as if a nation had been hypnotized in her justification for
war. Yes, Hitler was responsible for the deaths, even though he may not
have carried out a single execution or killed a single solder on the
battlefield of war. Hitler, as the leader of Germany, was responsible
for the deaths, even as President Bush, as the leader of America, is
responsible for death and destruction in Iraq.
Remind me again of the US justification for war, or has it changed once
again.
