I'm pretty sure that Ken demoed Javascript and DHTML and (if Ken was
involved I'm sure there was ) XML, just a few years before they called
it AJAX. It was XML-driven DHTML back then, and IE-specific, iirc.
Circa 2000?

Microsoft has announced they plan their own, codenamed Atlas, I believe.
