John, > Well, a couple of times I made the mistake of adding "I'm > just trying to be > perfect like you" to the "I'm sorry." After a few days of emotional > isolation, my behavior was sufficiently modified!
My husband has also tried that approach and had the same result. It seems to be pretty universal. I'm sure we are heading for some interesting times over the next few months as we finalize things like color choices in the new house. Right now he is in the middle of dumping 10,000 gallons of water on the hole we're digging for our foundation. We had to over-excavate to remove many tons of rock then will have to pack the soil back so the footings will be firm. We have some huge footings on this house... I hope that 16 years, 10 of which we were remodeling and 5 of which we've been living in will be sufficient practice for making decisions about new home construction. If not we're in trouble because we each have semi-automatic weapons here. :-) -- Kris www.shamrocktrails.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
