<vent> Yesterday, I had a flat on my tire on my way up our rough dirt road in to work, and could not afford to wait around to fix it because I had a critical meeting with a guy that was only going to be in town that day.
I called up Steve and asked him to swap cars with me, and he wound up being stuck fixing the tire. Unfortunately, Steve is still battling pneumonia and I felt like a dirty dog sticking him with my flat tire in this kind of heat, but I didn't have a choice. Once again, our wonderful "Magic Words" born-again, very vocal christian with a very small "c" neighbors just drove on by without offering to help in any way shape or form while Steve waited for an hour to get help with the flat tire. I have no use for "Magic Words" christians that can't be bothered when a neighbor needs help. I am annoyed that we have to go to the governing board to get a written order so that we can get them to quit pushing boulders into the road easement each time we clear it (at our own expense!) because it is on "their" side of the easement. What a pain in the butt. These folks were offended when we turned down an offer to attend their church with them... Hahaha. Like we want to show up where there will be MORE of them all collected in one spot. </vent> -- Kris www.shamrocktrails.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
