Dave I agreed with everything you said apart from Venables. Trying not to get on my soapbox; I believe playing for, or managing, your country should be a special honour awarded to the best amongst the few. Off the pitch antics play an important part of the person's attitude to the game and the spirit they play Internationals. That is why rugby will always be the team sport.
