Jesus never said, "Blessed are the cowards", or
"Blessed are the people who place their family in
danger" or "Blessed are those who capitulate to evil".

King David didn't capitulate, he hit Goliath right in
the head with a rock.  This was with the help of God,
hardly a peace-making move.  

Peacemaking involves negotiating with your enemy. 
Exactly how do we negotiate with Al Qaeda?  You can
see how well Israeli negotiations with terrorists have
worked out.
