No wonder some people don't "get" science. It requires a basic understanding of numbers in most cases, and people who trumpet one scientist's writing while ignoring the hundreds of others who present the opposite POV must not be able to count very well. Either that, or they are being dishonest by deliberately ignoring things that don't jibe with their pre-conceived notions.
