thanks Jim - that sounds like what I need.
I had thought up three options:
   re-address the 10V
   change my subnet to 192.168.1.1/255.255.0.0. (which I *thought* would
include the 10V)
   wire it the BT way but set it to bridge mode
However I'm right at the edge of my knowledge here - so I thought I'd just
ask.
