What made me laugh after the game was Ronaldo bleating on about the referee: "We played well and did our best but the referee didn't help us," said the Manchester United player. "Everyone who saw the match could see that the referee wasn't fair." Too right - if he was being fair he would have sent half the Portual team off. Pretty much all teams have people that go down easily (yes, shock horror, even England) but the antics of Portugal the other night would make even pro's like Robben and Ballack stand back in amazement. The fact is that they have a lot of skilful players but they sure didn't win any friends during this tournament.
