A common leftist trick. Define representatives of the opposing point of
view in some negative manner and you then "win" the "ad hominem" part of
the argument.
You impute far to much sense to the man. He came back from 'Nam with his
brain fried - has even admitted he can't go to Canada because of all the
drug convictions.
Where the "battle fatigue" ends and the drugging begins there is no
telling, but bottom line, he is not qualified to speak on the issues of
war and peace, this war or any war, he is just too emotionally involved.
