If there is specific printer information stored in the frx, VFP checks for that printer. If ti can't find it, it will print to the default printer. In order to avoid that behavior, you have to strip that info from the frx. There are a number of ways to accomplish this and many have been discussed here previously. If your reports are using standard form sizes (i.e. letter, A4, etc), it's pretty straightforward to get rid of the printer specific info. Custom form sizes can definitely make life more difficult, though. A trip through the archives should find several solutions.

Hello,

I am trying to print reports to various network printers using
SET PRINTER TO NAME (lcPrinter)
where lcPrinter is loaded with a printer selected using GETPRINTER()

Sometimes it works but 90% of the time it does not and prints to the default
printer.

The client has Windows 2000 workstations and the VFP help says this command
should work.

Anyone have an idea why this command is not working?

Thanks for your help,
Kent
