Dave Crozier said "Luddite!" Sorry but Luddite is a 5% Stout from Ryburn Brewery, Sowerby Bridge, and my friend Ronny Crabtree of The Sair at Linthwaite brews an 8% beer called Enoch's Hammer, named after the hammer the Luddites used to smash up the machinery. Personally I find it a bit heavy, and prefer Leadboiler - on which I have been known to get quite tiddly! (I used to have an old Volvo that could drive from The Sair to Manchester on its own <g>)
