Chemo, radiation and invasive surgery all carry an immune system hit. But cancer is generally acknowledged to be a failure of the immune system? Now if your patients are suffering from an illness caused by an immune deficiency where is the wisdom of designing a treatment that further degrades the immune function? It seems to me that we have to rethink the whole thing.
But, the cancer docs are making millions from patients too terrified not to follow their dictates, follow them all the way to their graves. Power and money insure that this will never be properly handled, never ever.
