Hi Tristian, > Wasn't Subversion derived from CVS
Subversion is a completely new product developed with the goal to replace CVS. If you know CVS it's easy to switch to SVN, because the concepts, tools, command line syntx, etc. are very similar. Internally SVN is entirely different. Here's a list that compares the two: http://www.pushok.com/soft_svn_vscvs.php -- Christof _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
