Being able to lift 2000 pounds is not a big deal. Even 2000 euros can be easily handled by anyone over the age of five. Lifting a ton, otoh, is pretty tough. Of course in the UK he would have to lift a tonne which, I believe, is a bit more than a ton. Heat prostration is not uncommon. Have you ever heard of Death Valley? Do you have any idea why it is called Death Valley? There is a lot of confusion over this global warming stuff. Also over unemployment rates, job creation rates, deficits, and a host of other issues that are described in terms of numbers. This is to be expected from a populace that is increasingly less adept with mathematics and science. Some people call this intelligent design. I call it pathetic.
