What a sham that was!
Sham? Not at all. I for one certainly look forward to replacing my
perfectly good, albeit somewhat older, M$ Office Suites on each employee's
PC every few years, whether the current app is working perfectly well or
not. And I equally enjoy seeing what the new version breaks as part of the
upgraded installation process. Not to mention replacing my hardware with
newer stuff needed to run to latest M$ Bloat Offerings. Why, without
Software Assurance I could have never been any more profitable than I
already was.
Yeah, right... I was so confused by folks telling how they moved to
Software Assurance to save money, when all I saw it do was line M$' coffers,
that I thought I was missing something really big. I never did "get it".
"The bigger the lie, the more the people want to believe it." heh-heh... I
suppose for the rare cross-section of corporate USA the SA program was worth
while. But for the kinds of businesses I cater to it was a prolific waste
of money, and hardly anyone noticed the big sucking sound as their pockets
were picked clean. Amazing...

Yes, that is truly amazing. How can people be so blind? Oh yeah...the
Borg analogy. <g>
