! I am so glad that the recent terrorist plot was thwarted. If it had ! succeeded, Americans could have kissed their Constitution and Bill of ! Right goodbye, forfeiting freedoms, liberties, privacy, due ! process and ! rights to a God of their own understanding. We, as Americans, are so ! easy to terrorize. At the first hint of danger, we all run ! for cover, ! anxious to bargain away our Constitutional rights for protection form ! the evil that is lurking in every shadow. We, as Americans, need the ! backbone to stand up to terrorist, and the backbone to stand ! up for our ! Constitutional rights at the same time.
But if you believe ANY of that nonsense in the video to which you called attention that started this thread, then you MUST believe this 'plot' and its 'bust' was entirely faked. There ARE no terrorists, only machinations to murder and profit from death and fear. I mean, if you can believe the government deliberately detonated a bunch of demolition bombs to create and control the collapse the WTC towers and murder all those people so some Jew could get a big insurance claim and the government cant assume dictatorial power, then you can believe all of this is part of the same government-sponsored "psy ops" campaign against the American people that, according to the video, 9/11 was. So, on that level, I'm glad you don't seem to have imbibed that cleverly concocted but totally outrageous bullshit in the video. I've seen some pretty wild conspiracy theories in my time as a collector of odd political nonsense, but that one was a doozy! It does help me understand a bit why some folks are so full of outright hate for Bush. If this is the kind of vicious trash they're taking seriously... ! ! Even though this recent plot was unsuccessful, I am watching ! closely to ! see if the Bush Administration follows it trend, and trys to make ! another grab for power thought legislation or other means because of ! this recent threat. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. If Bush DOESN'T impose stricter measures, the Dems will cry he's pandering to the airline industry and leaving Americans at risk; and if he DOES, they'll say he's trying to become an all-powerful dictator (something apparently only Democrat presidents and socialist revolutionaries in Central America are allowed to do). - Bob ! !
