You forgot to mention IIS.

Thanks,

Subject: Re: [NF] Installing XP Pro over XP Home

Ok, here's the stuff that's in Pro that ain't in Home...

Remote Desktop -- Don't need it when you have LogMeIn Free...
Offline Files and Folders -- Uh, CD Rom or why not copy from one machine

to the other...
Worst case; Copy from one machine to my FTP site on my web site to
the other machine.
Scalable Processor - Only have one...don't need it...
Encrypting File System -- What, hide my files from me?
Access Control -- OH, THIS ONE IS JUST TOO STUPID...
Centralized Administration -- Why? It's all computers on my workgroup
network
    Apple, Win2k and XP.
Group Policy -- Yeah, for all of my personalities...
Software Installation and Maintenance -- What? I know how to install
and remove software
Roaming User Profiles -- If you don't even know what the hell it is you
can't miss it
Remote Installation Service -- But I can physically get to all of my
computers
(I can even log onto any computer on my network using, you
guessed it, LogMeIn Free
Multi-lingual User Interface -- Hmmm. I already know English -- which
language I don't know
would I like to use to make windoze even harder to work with.

"Windows XP Professional gives you all the benefits of Windows XP Home
Edition, plus additional remote access, security, performance,
manageability and multi-lingual features that make it the operating
system of choice for businesses of all sizes and people who demand the
most out of their computing experience."

Right, Yeah, for people who demand the most complexity and
obfuscation...
