In the September 5, 2006 issue of PC Magazine on page 80 there is a
mention of FoxPro.

This is highly unusual because for the last 18 months or so, PC Mag has
listed FileMaker as the best DB software and has not even mentioned the
Fox in passing or otherwise.  It was as if someone "paid" them to ignore
the product.

So this article about the new CPU chips characterizes types of users.
One is called The Engineer.  His Profession is database guru and his
favorite apps are (get this) FoxPro, DB2, SQL Server.

Please note, they did *not* mention VISUAL FoxPro.  Is DB2 still around?
And truthfully, how many copies of SQL Server are shipping now that the
open source products are maturing?  Talk about being out-of-date.

P.S.  PC Magazine recently changed its format from "stodgy" to "radical
kewl."  More emphasis on gaming and auto electronics, less on computers.
IMHO there is one word to describe it and it's not fit to print in mixed
company.
