Sometimes you have to use an SCX form...
Do you HAVE to have it in a class table?

Do you have a thisform.show() or thisform.visible = .T. in the LOAD or INIT
of any object on the form? This would prevent the Show(1) from keeping it
stopped.
Otherwise this might help:
I have had an ActiveX object behave funky at times.
Make sure they are Enabled and Visible, and not in a PageFrame.
If it needs to be on a page in a pageframe, add them in the first Activate
of the pageframe.
Not all ActiveX objects are this picky.
