Damn. You know, I used this clause very recently myself, I just
blanked on it. It's part of DEFINE PAD - tells you where on the menu
bar to put the new pad. I'm pretty sure there _is_ a BEFORE clause
here, as well...

Which reminds me. I built a launch menu recently for the various
utilities we use in the office. Originally, it called them directly,
but then I decided that it needed to call through a Hook function for
various reasons. This turned out to be very susceptible to losing SET
PROCEDURE. I ended up "solving" it with a _SCREEN.Timer that checks
every 30 seconds to make sure SET PROCEDURE hasn't been cleared. Does
anyone have a more elegant/reliable way to do this?
