That's why I said "under the right circumstances."  It would have to be 
worthwhile.  Of course as an individual, you do not need representation.  You 
may represent yourself.  The courts generally treat such parties with kid 
gloves and bend over backwards to ensure a "fair fight."  Unless you are 
totally off-the-wall (i.e. Microsoft is reading my mind!), there are very view 
lawyers who relish getting involved in a pro se case.  Also, a really sharp 
legal mind could stir-up a class action and use Microsoft's ubiquity against 
them.

But (and there is always a but), it must be worthwhile, whatever that means.
