Is the object you are wanting to get the members list declared above
with an AS in a Public or Local declaration?

Nope. I seem to remember that this should work with any object that has
focus in the editor. For example, if I'm editing a form, there are no
declarations for the form itself or objects I've dragged onto it in the
ide.

What is the value of this property?
?_VFP.EditorOptions

If this is a table, the members list only works in the Command window.
