Sort of ;) Tracy provided a link to a wiki site that demonstrated a minimal toplevel application where on shutdown can be demonstrated to work. This code works for me. With my application, the ON SHUTDOWN code never gets triggered, but my toplevel form's QueryUnload does get fired by Windows 'shutdown events' so my application can still respond appropriately. Its a "good enough" solution.
