I have created a bunch of controls based on a container that have a
caption field, misc fields (must be present, search, add, error etc) and
the relevant input box (textbox, checkbox etc). All the alignment and
spacing is then done in the containers init. While it takes a while to
set up it is very quick to use when done and is then always available
for other projects. For example to have all the captions the same size
I just set the .CaptionWidth fields to the same value and everything
lines up. A routine in my forms init is capable of handling the spacing
of these controls on the form if I need it to (row number and column
number).
