American's energy dependence is a problem that will not be fixed over
the short term, and the current price of a barrel of oil is just a
temporary fluctuation on an otherwise long term upward trend. What
would happen to the price of gasoline to the American consumer, if an
embargo from Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, or Venezuela occurred? As you
well know, Venezuela's Chavez recently referred to President Bush as the
"Devil" in his UN speech, which brought him a lot of applause for the
other UN members, so diplomatically, the US is not the best loved
country in the world right now, thank you Mr Bush.
