I think the compiler is fine with it.  I believe there is a pre-processor
that uses the tabs and the spaces screw up the compiler input as modified by
the pre-processor.

I only have two photos available for distribution.  One shows me sitting
with Dr. A. G. Bell as he makes the first long-distance call at the
Philadelphia Expo of 1876.  The other shows me assisting Albert Gore, Jr. as
he invents the Internet (I held the screwdrivers, but he did the screwing).
Tell me which one you want and send me your payment of $75 per photo per
copy.  I may have invented the tab, but you will have to pick it up.
