I started to do that but I use a generic address for software and hardware
companies. Seems even these cant be trusted either so I will be changing
mine to a separate one for each company I deal with in future. Then when one
goes bad its just a cut off.

Hi

I don't use catch-all email addresses any more, this cut down drastically
the amount of spam I was getting.

For some of the lists I join I also create a temporary email address such
[EMAIL PROTECTED] so at least I know where the crap originated. If necessary
this means I just stop using a temporary email address altogether.
