You may want to double check your contracts as well. It may be a
violation of your agreement to resell Internet access.

Have you ever stayed in one of those hotels that have wifi? when you turn on your computer, a screen comes up and asks for your
credit card number so you can get wifi for 24 hours or more?
I have 4 broadband transmitters, smc, viewsonic, motorola, netgear. - different brands that I got to test things that client's ask
about along with 3 different types of DSL lines. This gives out a signal that has been traced to me in the neighborhood. Several
people have asked if I would let them connect to the Internet. I would like to do that - create a 'wifi hotspot', but I refuse to
get into an accounts receivable mess, trying to collect, etc. Anyone know where to get one of those programs that will handle the
credit card & connection management? I have an account with Nova and so it would be easy to process the payments, I just want
everything automated. I'll bet there is an open source program that would run on Linux that I could dedicate a system to and offer
a service and maybe even pay for the DSL and equipment.
When I google "wifi hotspot software management" I get millions of hits. How to tell if any of them are good?
