Yes, it is. Like the podcast bubble or the housing bubble, there are
people making lots of money, other people's money, and there's an
irrational exuberance, and there's a nugget of truth in it, too. Lots
of money can be made if you play your cards well and (most critically)
know when to fold.

Web 2.0 is a fascinating combination of AJAXian technologies,
user-contributed content and shiny graphics. I've been a big fan of
"social software" for a while, since I saw it work on CompuServe's
PCVEND forums, but the latest one is pretty amazing. There's some
great ideas, but an awful lot of the same old thing, too.
