Do you know the identity that SQL Server runs under? Can you get rights on
the server to the VFP data environment for that same ID?

Howdy all,
If this is SQL2005, try running the SP with "EXECUTE AS". Try it with
a UserName for someone with the rights to execute the SP - ie. the
creator of the SP - or (last chance!) 'dbo'.
