that is what e.g.  the macro recorder would show - but select is slow and
not necessary when using vba  or automation - just use the worksheet
directly (for convenience you can set a variable to
oExcel.ActiveWorkbook.Sheets(<sheet number>) )

(imho the Excel api and vba are both dogs' breakfasts, so good luck!)
