Thanks much, Matt. No urgency, but this is an area I'd like to do more with over time. I have seen your really good writeups on automation, but guess I missed this one. Since I've been using the Outlook calendar myself for years now, I have been tempted to interface with it. What's held me back is that there are a number of calendaring applications out there, including some really good looking tools provided by VFP folks (Craig Boyd and Dave Crozier's work come to mind), so I've been waffling on what to do beyond using VFP's own OCX control for simple things. OTOH, if it's a snap to do, I can get a little more mileage from Outlook's calendar without a big commitment. I do want to test the VFP based solutions more, but priorities keep getting in the way.
