I am not a C programmer either - haven't touched C since college - and that was a l-o-o-o-ng time ago! I am not rich, either. In fact, I'm investing my time now so that I know that I'll have a solid tool to use for desktop development for the next decade, no matter what happens to Fox, Windows, Microsoft, Linux, Apple... no matter how any of those products or companies fare, Dabo will work!
